Why use bank transfer?

  • Instant transfers: with systems like NIBSS Instant Payment (NIP), many bank transfers are processed in real time.

  • 24/7 access: mobile apps, USSD codes, and internet banking let you transfer money any time, including weekends and holidays.

  • Secure platforms: banks use encryption, two-factor authentication (2FA), and real-time fraud monitoring.

How long does it take?

Standard processing

Deposits are typically instant, with funds appearing in your account within a few seconds to a few minutes.

Service disruptions

In case of disruption with the service it might take from 15 minutes up to 24 hours. Please contact support if you did not receive your deposit after that time.

Why was my deposit rejected?

If the system says your deposit was rejected, don't worry. Here are the most common causes and how to resolve them:

Insufficient funds

Your account or wallet does not have enough funds to complete the deposit. Please top up your wallet or use an alternative payment method.

Card or bank issues

The bank might require 3D Secure verification or other security checks.

Limits exceeded

The bank or card might have daily or monthly transaction or deposit limits.

Mismatch in currency or location

If the payment is cross-border or in a different currency than expected, there could be restrictions.

Technical or system errors

Connectivity or server issues could cause rejection.

Failed but deducted

If the transaction appears as failed but the funds have been deducted from your account, please allow up to a few hours for the automatic reversal process to complete (typically within 30 minutes). If the amount is not refunded within this timeframe, please contact customer support for further assistance.
