Due to improvements and changes with the Bitcoin Blockchain, we have switched the formats of all of our BTC addresses from Legacy to Segwit.

What does this mean for players?

This results in faster transaction times and lower transaction fees for all players depositing and withdrawing to and from Roobet!

What are some possible problems players can run into?

While most players won't notice any changes other than lower transaction fees, some players may notice problems with placing deposits to their accounts from some BTC wallets/exchanges. This is due to the wallet not having adopted the new changes, meaning that they do not send to Segwit addresses at this time and the transaction will not work.

What can I do to fix this?

To fix this, you will need to switch to another wallet provider/exchange that is able to send to Segwit depo addresses. Some wallet providers that we recommend are Exodus, Coinbase, or Blockchain, however there are many other wallet providers that will also work. Another option is to switch to another currency such as Ethereum or Litecoin, or try purchasing crypto directly through our site here.
